it's time...for a(nother) giveaway ((day six))

can you believe this week of giveaways is over?! i wish i had more to give...well actually i do have a small giveaway that i'm thinking about doing next week. so stayed tuned for that. ANYWAYS.

if you have yet to enter the other five giveaways be sure to do that! the links are at the top. there were/are some GREAT giveaways this week. and the last one is just as great!!

a few months ago, i won a $25 gift certificate to a little mom owned business called 'it's time'. it's a great business...they essentially pack a labor bag for you. it's a brilliant idea. and i was excited to win. and i asked if they'd be willing to sponsor a review/giveaway. and they, obviously, said of course!!

they offer three different types of 'essentials' there is the simply beautiful essentials::

this includes:: Belli Pregnancy Pampering collection (Pampered Pregnancy Body wash, All Day Moisture Body Lotion, Elasticity Belly Oil, Skin Smoothing Body Exfoliator), toothbrush and toothpaste, loofah, head band, moisturizing Biggs & Featherbelle Soul Kiss lip balm, shampoo, conditioner, facial tissues, mouthwash, deodorant, hand sanitizer, Desert Essence organic towelettes, Cozy Comfort Dr. Scholl's grippy socks, large terry cloth bath towel, Earth Mama Angel Baby Peaceful Mama Tea and Third Trimester Tea and Earth Mama Angel Baby Happy Mama Spray
i love the earth mama angel baby stuff included!!

of course in case you want more there is the pampered beautiful essentials::
this includes::
Everything in the Simply Beautiful bag along with Olian Maternity PAJAMAS leopard print pants, nursing cami top, robe and matching sleeper and hat for baby or Olian Maternity PAJAMAS paisley pattern loungewear pants, solid button up nursing top, matching sleeper and hat for baby, Belli Motherhood Essentials Kit (Pure Comfort Nursing Cream, Eye Brightening Cream, Body Firming Serum and Moisturizing Hand Sanitizier), Earth Mama Angel Baby Labor Eas Massage Oil, Earth Mama Angel Baby New Bottom Spray, foam filled slippers to relieve the tension in mom-to-be's tired feet and a luxury satin sleep mask for a relaxing night sleep
i love the pajama option in this one, with matching outfit for baby!!

and then they offer the all about me essentials::
this one includes:: well basically WHATEVER YOU WANT IT TO! :0)

i fall into the 'all about me' category. i liked some of each of the different essentials, but didn't need ALL of the ones in the pampered. so i got to pick and choose the things i wanted in my bag. i got the super cute pink tote...which is way bigger than i thought. along with a cute pair of pajamas and outfit for miss baby girl E. and then some random things. chap stick, hair ties, toothbrush and paste, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, earth mama angel baby happy mom spray, bottom spray, the pregnancy pampering kit, hand sanitizer, tissues...and i think that's it. plus there's a ton of room left in the bag. so i should be able to throw the rest of the things i need right on in...and my bag is packed. THREE MONTHS before i'm even due. that my friends...is an accomplishment...packing my bag is something i put off. :0)

what i also like about this, is that you don't have to be pregnant to win this prize. i mean there are basic things you could use the $25 gift certificate you win to get from it's time. soooo even if you're not expecting...you can still enter to win!! or maybe you know someone who IS expecting! it seems to me everywhere i look there are pregnant women walking or waddling(that'd be me!) around. :0)

so like i said up for winnings is a $25 gift certificate to it's time!!

::MANDATORY ENTRY::
this one is easy...today is my birthday...so just leave a comment saying happy birthday. and voila...you're entered!

::EXTRA ENTRIES:: (please leave each comment seperately.)

**follow MY blog (or let me know if you do already)**

**grab the GALA BUTTON (or let me know if you did already)**

**blog about the giveaways (or let me know if you did already)**

**how many kids do/did you want when you were 'growing up'? has it changed now?**
((ironically i wanted five when i was younger...then i only wanted three...and now...i'm fine with however many we're given.))

**do you LOVE to hear or HATE to hear labor stories?**
((i absolutely LOVE to hear them...and love to share mine))

and as a reminder...
ALL of the giveaways will END ON APRIL 12th at MIDNIGHT. any comments left between now and APRIL 12th will count for the giveaway.

the winners of each of the giveaways will be announced on April 13th. the winners will have 48 hours to get back to me with their information. failure to do so will result in a new winner being picked. so please be sure to have a way for me to get a hold of you! :0)

Looking back, I never talked about having kids. It was only after I had a miscarriage, when we were married for seven months, did I realize that I wanted kids. So after a year of trying, we got preggers with Little man. :)

I LOVE listening to birth stories. And I love telling both of mine. :) Very exciting.

I love to hear birth stories as long as they aren't self centered or hero mom birth stories if you know what I mean.

Don't really think I ever thought about how many kids I wanted to have when I was growing up. I guess I always figured I'd never get married for some reason. Don't know why I thought that. Guess it was because I was really shy and I didn't date a lot.

Now that we'll be having three, I'm really happy and feel like we'll be done. Things just cost so much, esp here in CA and I want to make sure we can provide for our kiddos and I can continue staying home with them!

Veronica said...

I love hearing labor stories, esp ones where something amazing happened and the Lord totally blessed someone with an amazing delivery. I've been praying for an awesome delivery and one that will go quickly and with as little pain as possible. The Lord totally gave me that with Audrey and I know He can do it again!

I love to hear and share labor stories - they may not be the prettiest stories, but they are what make us moms and we should be proud of the hard work we endured for our little ones.

Stephanie said...

I always knew I wanted more than one, two or three didn't seem like enough, and four seemed just right...but, now, I just think I'll take as many blessings as the Lord allows, and take them one at a time (hopefully!) ;)

Rusti said...

Now that I've BEEN through labor, I enjoy hearing the stories... before though, I wasn't always sure if I wanted to hear them or not :) I liked hearing about what I could expect, but the scary ones - wasn't a huge fan. Luckily I'm laid back enough that even those ones didn't stress me out too much... and I too love to TELL my labor story (and I've heard from others that I was pretty lucky in that area! so woot woot for me then!) ;)

I really never knew how many kids I wanted. I thought maybe 1 or 2. I was an only child, so having a big family was foreign to me, but once I had my first (totally unplanned), I just couldn't imagine not having more. I secretly now wish I could have like 10 kids, but the hubby's not going for it. Ha!

Kristin said...

I love to hear labor stories! There's nothing more miraculous than giving birth and I love how every woman's story is different.
