sparrow soaps {giveaway}

i have not done a giveaway in a long while. so it's time for one. (and actually i have another one to do soon as well!)

this giveaway is great. it's more than great. it's AWESOME. :)

i don't know about you, but i love soap. smelly, yummy, pretty soap. and i like to stay natural in my soap choices. when one of my dear friends started selling goat's milk soap...i knew i'd love it. and i was right. i love it. just as much as i love her. :) ((what else shows love, then driving across the country to meet someone?! lol. we drove to CT two years ago to meet her and her fabulous family.))

michelle started her soap company with a friend of hers. this is thier "blurp" on etsy...

Thank you for checking out Sparrow Soaps. We offer pure, good old-fashioned soap at its best. Goat's milk is extraordinarily gentle and tender even to the driest of skin types. It also contains alpha-hydroxy acids, which help restore your skin to look and feel smoother, silky, and younger. Goats' milk adds a rich creamy texture to soap, giving a luxurious feeling every time you bathe.

We also offer our soaps wholesale.

Feel free to contact us anytime at sparrowsoapscompany [at] gmail [dot] com

Peace be with you~

Sue and Michelle

~Matthew 10:29-31

for Christmas i made everyone (well not EVERYONE, but most people on my gift list) washcloths...so to pair it up with something fun i bought some soap from michelle. i got an extra bar for myself. and put it in my drawer in the bathroom. i didn't want to use it. it was so pretty. and smelled good.
look at how pretty the soap is...this is the oatmeal lavender scent...

so the other day when i took a shower i decided to use it. i mean, what good does soap do in a drawer. why should i leave it in there and then when i die someone will find my drawer of pretty soap and THEY'LL get to use it. ;)
ahhhhhhhh. not only does it smell great. look pretty. but it works fantastically. it lathers up so nice and feels like lotion going on. i didn't even NEED lotion when i got out of the shower. so now i'm offically hooked.

awhile back on sparrow soaps on facebook they did a contest to "name" their seconds soap. and i WON!! the name i picked was not forgotten. based off of the scripture "Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? ..Yet not one of them is forgotten by God." {Luke 12:6} here is a picture of the "not forgotten" soap
info from site::Try Sparrow Soaps "Not Forgotten" ...sold by the pound. (our bars are usually 4-6+ ounces each)These soaps may be off-cut, slightly bent, have minor aesthetic issues or simply just a soap of limited availability... but still very good soap . We sell our seconds exclusively "our choice" where we put together a generous pound of a variety of soaps...some are labeled, some are not. Great way to have quality, natural soaps for family use.

i won a free bar of soap and picked cherry almond. YUMMY. it's my favortie so far. or if you're interested you could buy a loaf of soap
info from site:: Choose any scent from our listings or ask about a special blend made *just for you*. You can choose how large or small you would like the bars to be. We make it, wrap it up for shipping, and send it off to you. When you receive your loaf, unwrap it, cut it however you choose, and let it sit/cure on a shelf for 3-4 weeks.

Or, we can certainly cut it as you choose, then let cure on our shelves, and ship it off to you in approx 4 weeks. One loaf can make 8 to 10 super generous "chunky" bars......20+ medium sized bars or 40+ "hotel sized" party/wedding favors.

This is a great way to have a nice supply of your favorite soap! Or perfect for gift giving, party favors. You can be as creative as you want with wrapping them up.

Loaves are approx. 40 ounces/ 2.5 pounds.

All of our soaps contain a generous amount of nutritious goats milk from our own herd of dairy goats, along with olive oil; soybean oil; palm oil and coconut oil.

i've also traded michelle for some soap by me making some washcloths for her. in it she sent a sample of mountain man.
info from site:: A nice blend of light woodland fragrances....perfect for that "outdoorsy" person in your life!

We begin with a generous amount of nutritious goats milk from our own herd of dairy goats, along with olive oil; palm oil; soybean oil; and coconut oil. To that we mix in ground spearmint leaves, spearmint essential oil, fragrance oil (Balsam & Citrus) and a dash of FD&C colors....green & orange.

Sparrow Soaps are always cut into generous 4-6+ ounce bars.

So many look yummy!!! I would probably pick tea tree oil and lavender. Would also love to try the milk and honey.

Thank you for the giveaway.

Side note: I really wish I could order a big loaf with the coupon!! We're moving and it wouldn't make sense to get it until we're in our new house. Of course, since we haven't sold this one we don't know when that will be.

It was so hard to choose, and they are all so beautiful, like how they swirl the colors! But I think cherry almond...or cinnamon balsom, or peppermint patty....see it's hard to choose!!
