giveaway gala day two!

if you haven't entered yet...be sure to enter day one's giveaway!! and to those of you who have entered...THANKS SO MUCH!! it's so fun to see so many of you enter...and HI!! to my new followers who entered...or came 'out' of the blogger closet to enter. lol. so here goes day two's giveaway!!

awhile ago another blog i read was having a whole ton of giveaways. i offered up some wildtree for her to review and giveaway. well the winner of that giveaway...ended up being cindi from yaya blankets. i checked out her site and loved all of the cute blankets i saw. she has blankets in adult sizes, and of course kids sizes  too! there are also two different designs to cindi's blankets. either the yaya blanket or the caden style. ((and not only blankets...cindi also has burp rags!)) cindi offers a wide range of sizes to her blankets. and offered me a lovey sized blanket to review. i went with the caden style in the purple bubbles pattern...

the lovey size is absolutely PERFECT for carrying around everywhere. in fact. after i got the lovey...i decided to email cindi immediately and order a blanket and another lovey for baby girl E. the other kiddos each have a tiny little blanket/animal they carry around, instead of huge blankets. so i decided that little miss E will have these for her lovey. and of course her blanket for bedtime too...

i went with the yaya style for her blanket, but kept with the purble bubbles pattern.

let me tell you the blankets are soooooooooooooooooooooooooo super soft. like i should totally just order myself an adult sized blanket. when the lovey came in the mail i opened it and i'll admit, i rubbed it on my cheek. it's probably because all the blankets are made with 100% extremely plush minky chenille. cindi also offers free personalization right now.

i just love that idea!! so i made sure to personalize all miss E's stuff with an E. and since i got these before we were pretty set on a name...it worked well!

you absolutely want one don't you!? i know you do!! so here's the deal...cindi has offered one of you one of her loveys...or the 24.95 the lovey is worth as credit to her store!! how great is that!?! now...here's how you enter::

::MANDATORY ENTRY::(make sure to do this for all the other entries to 'count')

**did you have a lovey growing up? what was it? do you still sleep with it? :0)**

((i had a lovey growing up. it was a dog i named snuffleupagus (and i totally spelt that wrong). he did get the boot though after shaun bought me a bunny for our second dating anniversary. i slept with the bunny every day up until the night before we got married. now..shaun is my lovey. awwww.))

::EXTRA ENTRIES::

**follow MY blog**(or tell me if you do already)

**follow CINDI'S blog**

**check out the YAYA BLANKETS site and tell me what your favorite print is**

**after looking at the YAYA BLANKETS site tell me what your favorite style is yaya or caden**

**grab the GALA BUTTON and put it on your blog**(or let me know if you do already)

**blog about the week of giveaways on your blog (please leave link) ((this can be done one time, but included as an entry for EACH giveaway. :0) ))**

ALL of the giveaways will END ON APRIL 12th at MIDNIGHT. any comments left between now and APRIL 12th will count for the giveaway.

the winners of each of the giveaways will be announced on April 13th. the winners will have 48 hours to get back to me with their information. failure to do so will result in a new winner being picked. so please be sure to have a way for me to get a hold of you! :0)

and be sure to be back tomorrow. tomorrow's giveaway is the fabric that got the most "ohhh i wonder what it is"...you're going to love it! :0)

**the fine print stuff:: as stated Cindi was super nice to give me a lovey to review...and i was super nice to buy baby girl E a blanket and a lovey. all reviews are my own opinion and i was not influenced in any way for my review**

208 loving words from you.:

I became a follower of your blog yesterday :) I do have a question though-is is one prize per winner or are people allowed to win multiple items? Just wondering if I have a chance to win more than one goody :)
So hypothetically could I win yesterday's towel and still be eligible to win today's blanket?

I had a stuffed dog that you could wind up and it would play `Braham's Lullaby`. I wonder how many children are familiar with Braham's lullaby, these days. Anyway, I no longer have it. But our cuddly, 20lb cat sleeps with us these days.

Its so nice to get to know you! I found you through Holly's Blog. Now your on my list of daily reads! LOL! Anywho, I did have a lovey. It was this ugly purple bear that had been through everything and went everywhere. I was devastated when mom threw it away because she couldnt get the smell out of it.

Sherry T said...

I just checked out the yaya blankets and I say the caden style is awesome! However I did find one of the yaya styles that I love and may get its the Pink Dottie! My baby would love it!

I had a yellow blankie with silky edges that have since fallen off. I still have it, but use it for my babies now. I also had a teddy bear that I still have with all of V's stuffed animals. It used to have a music box inside that you could wind up and play.

Tonia said...

My lovey was a blanket with the silky edge on it. I loved to rub the silky. And of course my thumb was my lovey :) I sucked it for SO long!!

Tonia said...

My favorite print is the dots. Either blue or pink. We are expecting #4 and don't know what it is yet so either color of print is fun!

Tonia said...

I like the Caden style of blanket, but they are both SO cute and look so SOFT!

mittelmommy said...

i didn't carry around a lovey that i can remember, but i did have seven baby dolls that were real to me and had a crib, but they always had to sleep in my bed-guess i was for co-sleeping back then! ha! anyway, if i was sick and slept with my mom and dad all the babies came with, which meant my dad had to sleep on the sofa b/c there was no room for him!

mittelmommy said...

i do follow you as you know! =)

mittelmommy said...

as you well know, or at least you should have a little idea by now that i love purple...so, i too, would go with the purple bubbles...it's adorable! and our girls would quickly learn the letters "E" and "M"! =)

mittelmommy said...

i think that i like the caden style just because then i see more of the purple bubbles pattern!
ps-as you can see...it's working this morning! yay. not sure what was up last night!

I had a teddy bear that I slept with every night. My grandpa won him in a bowling tournament and when we came home from visiting, he had stowed away in my suitcase. My mom made me call and tell my grandpa what I'd done, and he said I could keep him. From then on, he's always lived with me, even now he has a place of honor in the top of my closet. :)
