A GIVEAWAY!!

yep. it is. a GIVEAWAY!!

as you know...or maybe don't know...but you will now...we're a cloth diapering family. ((and even if YOU'RE not...keep reading, because the giveaway is for something a non-cloth diapering family can use too!)) i'm always trying to find fun new stores to support and i won a giveaway on a different blog for a diaper from a cute little store called the diaper wagon...

it was also fun to learn the store is in the same state i am!! so i'm supporting 'local' too! because of course i can't just 'win' a giveaway...i have to buy from them too. anne is wonderful from the diaper wagon. she answers emails almost instantly. and it's great customer service. one thing that i base a lot of things on.

i approached her about doing a giveaway on my blog. she was so nice to say yes. i decided to go with a leslie's boutique wetbag.
that isn't my pattern...i picked this one...

it's so pretty. and also matches the new diaper bag i got really well. the blues are almost the same.

i LOVE the wetbag. i got a size medium. and it has the handy dandy button handle on it to strap it right on to my diaper bag. there's also a neat little microfiber swatch that you could put some oil scent on to help smell up the bag pretty.

i've fit a ton of diapers in our bag. having two kids in diapers...means a lot of diapers.

BUT you don't have to be a cloth diapering family to use a wetbag. i LOVE wetbags for more than just cloth diapers. i use our extra one when we go to the beach. it fits our swimsuits in it nicely and i can zip it closed and don't have to have a grocery bag around to throw it in. my sister also loves her wetbag for those 'blowout' clothes. she doesn't cloth diaper but has the wetbag in the diaper bag for when my niece decides to put her poop up her back too. the wetbag works great for the dirty clothes. i've also used it for when potty training. it holds 'accident' clothes and undies quite nicely!!

so you see. there are a ton of uses for the wetbag.

and now you want one don't you?!

well how about a medium sized leslie's boutique wetbag in this pattern:

i think it's super cute. and anne promises me that it's even CUTER in person. :0)

so just how in the world can you win one?!

well here's the deal. (and if you were around for the gala giveaways...there's always an 'easy' entry. and then those extra entries you get to do too)

MANDATORY ENTRY::
just let me know what you'd use your wetbag for! wet swimming clothes...accident clothes...blowout clothes...cloth diapers...or maybe something i've never thought of!

EXTRA ENTRIES:: (please leave a different comment for each entry. thanks!)

** follow my blog

**become a fan of the diaper wagon on facebook

**check out The Diaper Wagon and let me know something else you'd love to have

**purchase something from The Diaper Wagon

**in honor of 'earth day' share your favorite 'green' tip ((mine...cloth diaper!  :0) we love it. and it saves us money and the environment all at the same time. so our pockets are greener and so is the earth...or something like that! lol))

this giveaway will be open until APRIL 27th at MIDNIGHT 'my' time which is Central Time. any comments left between NOW and THEN will be counted towards this giveaway.

thanks for entering!! and thanks to anne at the diaper wagon for sponsoring this review and giveaway!!

86 loving words from you.:

I currently use my wetbags for cloth diapers. I've also been known to use them for dirty clothes, bibs, and mama cloth. I'm always running out of clean wetbags on the weekends if we have a busy one.

I just became a fan (or liked) The Diaper Wagon on FB :D

Just looked at The Diaper Wagon's website and I think I would have a really hard time deciding between a wool wash bar or a hemp prefold.

green tip-we toured the local recycling center and found out eaxctly what can/cannot be recycled. we have to take the lids off of our soda bottles or they wont recycle them! who knew!? IF YOU DONT TAKE THEM OFF, THEY GO IN THE LAND FILL!
so tour your center and find out more tips about your local rules.

Christy said...

Things I do that are green, well, I CD, I sew my own out of recycled materials, I sometimes use family cloth and cloth wipes, we burn wood in our insert in the winter to help with heating, I line dry my clothes when it's warm enough, I use reusable shopping bags for groceries, I try to buy everything I need for the kids and clothes and such used (craigslist, thrift stores, rummage sales), we use a front loader and HE drier for our regular clothes, I make my own laundry detergent, soap, and dish washer rinse aid which are all less harsh on our skin and the environment than their store-bought counterparts; I'm sure there is more but my brain isn't working very well this morning... :D *giggle*

Those are neat!! I would probably use mine for swimsuits, since my girls are older now.

I would use it for wet bathing suits and blow-out clothes. I plan to do a lot of swimming with Franky this summer and blow-out diapers are unavoidable with newborns, so a wetbag would be perfect!

We are "green" in many ways. We recycle, I breastfeed, we cloth diaper, we use energy efficient light bulbs, we use the reusable bags at the grocery store.

aside from using cloth diapers/wipes, I recommend going meatless a few days a week. Something people don't always think about is how many resources are used up on raising animals for food. It will also save you $$ if you cut out meat a few nights a week. :o)

My green tip is to think before you purchase something or throw something out. Do you have something that you can use for a different purpose so you don't put more trash in the landfill? I always try to do this and cloth diapers sure are a great way to do that!
sully_debbie11 at msn dot com

It's taken me a while to get to entry #2, but I did check out the Diaper Wagon website, and while I'd love to have almost anything there, I guess I'll pick the bumGenius one-size organic diaper. Mostly because it's too expensive for me to buy on my own! :)

"Green" things we do - cloth diaper, line dry laundry, make cleaning supplies, use washable containers for packed lunches, recycle, and more... :)

I'd use it in the downstairs bathroom for diapers! I've got two wet bags, but I like having one clean right now so I have some place to go with the wet ones while the others are washing. Since we have the diaper sprayer now it's nice to have a wet bag down there. I have a trash can, but feel a wet bag would look nicer!

Here I go rambling! :P Thanks for reminding me to enter. I've been such a slacker on reading blogs. Mainly cause I've been so busy....actually if I managed my time better I could get TONS of stuff done in a day, but I don't! :(

Green Tip. Open the windows and shut off the lights! I love the fact that our house has TONS of natural light, and so we hardly have lights on in my house. I'm constantly telling Dahrran (who has blackout shades in his room) to open the curtians instead of turning on the lights!

Oh, and CDing is awesome too!

I use them for clothdiapers of course! lols!
